IBADAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT
ABSTRACT
This work discusses factors associated with
mass failure of students in yoruba in secondary schools in ibadan local government
. A hundred and twenty questionnaires were distributed among students and
teachers from selected secondary schools in ibadan local government. Interviews
and surveys were also conducted.
Primary and secondary data will be used in the
analysis. Tables and percentages will also be used as the instrument of
analysis
It will be observed therefore that availability
of teaching and learning facilities and teachers’ technical competence have a
strong and significant impact on students’ academic performance in Yoruba in
secondary schools.
